Note: This Act primarily funded the government as an omnibus appropriations bill, with the exception of amending certain budget information required to be submitted to Congress in section 1107 of title 31 of the U.S. Code (see below).


Applicable Text of Statute

Section 619 of Pub. L. 112-74 amended 31 U.S.C. 1107 (Deficiency and supplemental appropriations) by adding a requirement for the President to transmit certain appropriations information to Congress: 

Sec.  619. Section 1107 of title 31, United States Code, is amended by adding to the end thereof the following: ‘‘The President shall transmit promptly to Congress without change, proposed defi- ciency and supplemental appropriations submitted to the President by the legislative branch and the judicial branch.’’.
