Fiscal Year 2015
President’s Budget Submission
Under section 1105 of title 31 the U.S. Code, the President is legally required by “the first Monday in January but not later than the first Monday in February of each year” to submit to Congress a budget for the upcoming fiscal year. Section 1106 of the Code sets forth a further legal requirement for the President to submit an update to the budget, which must occur before July 16 of each year. This document is commonly known as the “Mid-Session Review”.
