Clause 4. Capitation or Direct Taxes
Clause 5. Duties on Exports from States
Clause 6. Preference of Ports
Clause 7. Appropriations and Accounting of Public Money
Clause 8. Titles of Nobility

Clause 4. Capitation or direct Taxes

No Capitation, or other direct, Tax shall be laid, unless in Proportion to the Census or Enumeration herein before directed to be taken.
