Sec. 905. (a) Except as provided in this section, the provisions of this Act shall take effect on the date of Its enactment.

(b) Title II975 (except section 201(a)976), section 403,977 and section 502(c)978 shall take effect on the day on which the first Director of the Congressional Budget Office is appointed under section 201(a).979

(c) Except as provided in section 906,980 title III981 and section 402982 shall apply with respect to the fiscal year beginning on October 1, 1976, and succeeding fiscal years, and section 401983 shall take effect on the first day of the second regular session of the Ninety-fourth Congress.984

(d) The amendments to the Budget and Accounting Act, 1921, made by sections 601,985 603,986 and 604987 shall apply with respect to the fiscal year beginning on July 1, 1975, and succeeding fiscal years, except that section 201(g)988 of such Act (as added by section 601989) shall apply with respect to the fiscal year beginning on October 1, 1976, and succeeding fiscal years and section 201990 of such Act (as added by section 601991 shall apply with respect to the fiscal year beginning on October 1, 1978, and succeeding fiscal years. The amendment to such Act made by section 602992 shall apply with respect to the fiscal year beginning on October 1, 1976, and succeeding fiscal years.
