Unfunded Mandates Reform Act of 1995
Section 109
SEC. 109. AUTHORIZATION OF APPROPRIATIONS.[1]
There are authorized to be appropriated to the Congressional Budget Office $4,500,000 for each of the fiscal years 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, and 2002 to carry out the provisions of this title.[2]

[1] This section is classified to the U.S. Code at 2 U.S.C. 1516.
[2] No additional authorization of appropriations have been made for this purpose after 2002. The Congressional Budget Office has fulfilled the requirements under this title in its annual appropriations. The requirement of CBO to fulfill the requirements under the Act, though, do not lapse upon the expiration of the authorization of appropriations.

EFFECTIVE DATE
This section has an effective date of Jan. 1, 1996, or on the date 90 days after appropriations made available as authorized by section 110 (UMRA 1995), whichever is earlier, and applicable to legislation considered on and after that date.
