SEC. 227. EARLY ELECTION OF COMMITTEES OF THE HOUSE.

Clause 6(a)(1) of Rule X or the Rules of the House of Representatives is amended by striking out “at” and inserting in lieu thereof “within the seventh calendar day beginning after”, and by adding at the end thereof the following new sentence: “It shall always be in order to consider resolutions recommended by the respective party caucuses to change the composition of standing committees.”.
