Bipartisan Budget Act of 2018
Contents
The Bipartisan Budget Act of 2018 has multiple parts, encompassing Divisions A through G comprising the bill H.R. 1892 (115th Congress). A number of these divisions have direct relevance to budget process matters, though it is a mixed piece of legislation. Division C, in particular Title I of that division, contained the amendments to budget law that extended provisions of the Bipartisan Budget Act of 2013 and the Bipartisan Budget Act of 2015. The Act included continuing appropriations through March 23, 2018. Additionally, it contained provisions related to spending and revenue, and in particular Division D has numerous tax provisions while Division F applied to farm programs.
